Community Involvement

In-the-community-AZ Cenpatico Integrated Care is committed to being effective community partners. When we say:

"Empowering Communities… Inspiring Hope."

We mean we collaborate with the whole community. Each community is comprised of people from all walks of life who bring skills, talents and ideas to the table. And each community is unique in its needs, issues and strengths. We invite each community we serve to join us in our efforts to improve lives in each of our counties: Santa Cruz, Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima, Pinal, Yuma and La Paz.

We have several ways we ask for input from our communities. There is the opportunity for citizens to belong to our Community Advisory Councils and Peer and Family Advisory Councils. These councils discuss issues specific to each community and make recommendations to Cenpatico IC on how we can improve the system of care. Cenpatico also has a Stakeholder Advisory Board and a Peer and Family Governing Board that includes members from all the counties we serve. These boards meet quarterly with our CEO Terry Stevens to make recommendations on improving care across our service area. Cenpatico’s Community Connections Specialists, as well as other Cenpatico staff members participate in community committees and coalitions. We want to effectively collaborate with everyone that touches the lives of the people we serve.

Our Choose Health® Program works to improve the overall health and wellness of our employees, providers, members and communities using SAMHSA’s 8 dimensions of wellness and various other tools and programs to promote the health of our citizens members and communities. We want all our communities to be healthy communities and are ready to invest our time, our staff talent and support to provide education on what we all can do to improve everyone's overall health.
