Financial wellness is satisfaction with current and future financial situations.  Financial wellness is also described as the ability to “Live within your means and learn to manage your finances for the long term” (, 2015, para. 1).


  • Pack your lunch
  • Attend a budgeting workshop
  • Plan your retirement
  • Prioritize your needs and wants
  • Invest 6% of your wages into a 401k plan
  • Pay off any outstanding loans
  • Set financial goals with timelines
  • Seek out financial learning opportunities
