Physical Wellness 

Physical wellness is recognizing the need for physical activity, diet, sleep, and nutrition.  One definition affirms, “Physical wellness includes exercising regularly, eating a balanced diet, caring for one’s body, and avoiding the use of tobacco, alcohol, and drugs” (redlands.edu, 2014, para. 7).

Activities

  • Garden weekly
  • Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep
  • Walk/ride a bike 3 times a week
  • Drink 8 glasses of water daily
  • Participate in your favorite 5k
  • Try 3 new fruits/veggies per month
  • Measure your success in a journal
  • Brush your teeth twice a day
