Social Wellness 

Social wellness is developing a sense of connection, belonging, and a well-developed support system.  Social wellness is also, “one’s ability to interact with people around them.  It involves using good communication skills, having meaningful relationships, respecting yourself and others, and creating a support system that includes family members and friends” (, 2014, para. 1).


  • Join a walking club
  • Join a book club
  • Attend local events
  • Join your public libraries social activities
  • Attend family movie night
  • Attend a family reunion
  • Take dance lessons
  • Volunteer
