Spiritual Wellness 

Spiritual wellness is expanding our sense of purpose and meaning in life.  Spiritual wellness is described as, “a personal matter involving values and beliefs that provide a purpose in our lives” (ucr.edu, 2014, para. 1).  It is also said that, “the basis of spirituality is discovering a sense of meaningfulness in your life and coming to know that you have a purpose to fulfill” (unh.edu, 2015, para. 3).


  • Try yoga at your local studio
  • Start your mornings with meditation or prayer
  • Go on a nature walk or spend time outside
  • Listen to music
  • Journal daily what you are thankful for
  • Be kind
  • Read spiritual books
  • Participate in spiritual events
