Arizona Smokers' Helpline (ASHLine)
Many people have quit smoking through programs by the Arizona Smokers Helpline (ASHLine). The ASHLine has several valuable and no cost resources. Arizona Early Intervention Program (AzEIP)
Under EPSDT, Medicaid reimburses for services to treat or ameliorate physical and behavioral health disorders, a defect, or a condition identified in an EPSDT screening.  Limitations and exclusions, other than the requirement for medical necessity, do not apply to EPSDT services. These services should be authorized and provided through the AHCCCS Health Plan. The AHCCCS Health Plan should coordinate with AzEIP and notify the AzEIP service coordinator when services are approved by the AHCCCS Health Plan.

Cenpatico Integrated Care - Utilization Management Department
The Cenpatico Integrated Care Utilization Management program is designed to ensure members receive timely, medically necessary and cost-effective health care services at the correct level of care. The scope of the program includes all members and network providers. Prior authorization, concurrent review, discharge planning, and retrospective review are the elements of the utilization management process.

Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT)
Location - In-person training is provided the first Tuesday of each month, from 1:00-3:00 PM, by the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC) at 2225 N. 16th Street, Phoenix AZ 85006.

Description - At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will: 1) Describe characteristics of ASDs, 2) Identify screening tools for ASDs, 3) Recognize effective behavioral interventions for ASDs, 4) Indicate community services available for individuals with ASDs, 5) Summarize medical treatments, including medications, for ASDs. Please note: M-CHAT is not approved for the 9 month visit.

Fee - Provided for a fee of $50. For an additional cost, trainers can travel to any location statewide.

NurseWise Crisis Services
Available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Telephone Crisis Intervention Services are provided by nurses, behavioral health professionals, behavioral health technicians, and peer and family support specialists.

Parents' Evaluation of Developmental Status (PEDS)
Location - Arizona PediaLearning Resource Center
Description - Users "click through" a slideshow presentation. After the last slide, you will be prompted to complete a post test. Finally, a certificate is generated for you to print for your records.
Schedule - This online training is available 24 hours a day.
Fee - This training is provided by the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AzAAP) for a fee of $30.00.

Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program
The Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program is a federally funded program that provides vaccines at no cost to children who might not otherwise be vaccinated because of inability to pay.

Prior Authorizations

Prior Authorization means your doctor has asked permission for you to get a special service or referral. We must approve these requests before the delivery of services.

Some medical and behavioral health services may need Prior Authorization.

Urgent Care

Sometimes you need help right away but it isn't a life-threatening emergency and you do not want to go to the emergency room at the hospital. Cenpatico has providers who can see you right away. Below are some options you can use. You do not need to call or request permission from us. If you have questions, or need help in deciding where to go, please call our customer service department at 866-495-6738 or TDD/TTY at 877-613-2076. Someone is available to help you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
